I love angels and saw this pattern by R&K Creations and had to make her. She is 19" tall and her wings are 18" wide. I love the colors of dress, it is a floral print of violet and lavender hibiscus. Her round head is 3/4 covered by shiny and very silky synthetic auburn hair ending with two pig tails on either side. She is wearing pantaloons made from muslin. Her wings are also muslin and I machine free styled the quilting on them. Emily and her dress were very lightly stained, her wings a little heavier to bring out the stitching. Her face was painted on using different mediums.
The wings have a small gauge wire running inside the top to help keep their shape, they are detachable for easy shipment. I will include large safety pins to pin them back on. They can also be used to hang her.
